Goan Kaju Curry Ingredients 1 cup Cashew nuts , halved 1 Tomato , finely chopped 1 Green Bell Pepper (Capsicum) , diced 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi) Cooking oil , for cooking 1 tablespoon Coriander (Dhania) Leaves , chopped, for garnishing Salt , to taste  Ingredients to be ground to paste 1 cup Fresh coconut , grated 2 Onion , finely chopped 5 Garlic , chopped 1 teaspoon Coriander (Dhania) Seeds 3 Byadagi Dried Chillies 5 Whole Black Peppercorns 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds (Jeera) 2 Cloves (Laung) 1/2 Tamarind , marble sized ball How to make Goan Kaju Curry Recipe (Spicy Goan Cashew Nut Curry) To Begin making the Goan Kaju Curry recipe, soak the cashew nuts into hot water for minimum 30 minutes. Famous sweet dish of Goa - sannas

Hey friends....here I come up with one more recepie which is goan sannas. Every Goan is familiar with the delicious of Goan Sannas which is a steam rice cake. Growing up there were two versions a sweet one with jaggery and a plain one. Sannas Ingredients : (Toddy Fermented Rice Cakes) 250 gm rice 1 coconut 500 ml toddy salt to taste 20 gm sugar Method : Wash and soak the rice overnight.  Drain and grind the rice finely with toddy.  Add grated coconut and make a thick batter. Add sugar, cover and keep in a warm place for about 3 hours or until the batter ferments. Add salt to the batter and mix thoroughly.  Pour the batter into shallow round molds and steam for 15 minutes.

Moongacho Gathi

Moongacho Gathi (curried green gram) Ingredients 2 cups (300 gm) sprouted green gram 4 tbsp oil 15 cloves 1 two inch stick cinnamon 15 black peppercorns 1 tbsp coriander seeds 1 cup grated coconut 2 tbsp melted ghee 2 pinch asafoetida 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 8 curry leaves 4 green chillies (slit) 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1 tbsp grated jaggery 2 tbsp tamarind pulp 1 cup coconut milk 20 cashew nuts (soaked) Salt to taste Method Heat the oil in a pan and stir-fry the cloves, cinnamon, peppercorns, coriander seeds and coconut, one by one, till fragrant. Grind the spices and coconut with one cup of water to a fine paste. Heat the ghee in a pan; add the asafoetida, mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chillies. When the seeds begin to splutter, add the sprouted gram, turmeric powder and three cups of water and cook till the gram is soft and tender. Here I come up with one more interesting goan veg recepie. Its shevgyache sukhe or  Dry drumsticks. Its really delicious...😊😊 Shevgyachyo Shengo Ingredients 250 gms Drumsticks 200 gms Coconut 2 Medium Sized Onions 1 Medium Sized Tomato 1/2 Inch Ginger 2 Tsp Chilly Powder or 3 Kashmiri Chillies 1/2 Tsp Cumin 1 Tsp Coriander Powder 1/2 Tsp Turmeric 3 Kokam Pieces 5 - 6 Pepper Corns 2 Tbsp Oil Salt to taste Recepie Out of the above ingredients, you need to keep aside 1/4th of the coconut for garnishing the rest of the scraped coconut goes into the grinder along with the pepper, cumin, turmeric, chilli powder and garlic. Blend all of them and you will need to add a little water to get it ground nice and fine. This is a deliciously addictive spicy chilli potato recipe. these crispy fried potatoes in a spicy, sour and slightly sweet sauce are so good and you will definitely ask for more. PREPARATION FOR MAKING CHILLI POTATO chopping potato 1. firstly rinse 3 medium sized potatoes (250 to 275 grams) well in water. then peel them. then chop the potato in slices. 2. then cut each slice in sticks. 3. in a bowl take 3 cups cold water. place the potatoes in the water for 20 to 30 minutes. prepping other ingredients 4. meanwhile, when the potatoes are soaking in water, prep the other ingredients. chop 1 medium sized onion. finely chop 1 small capsicum , 4 to 5 medium to large garlic cloves, 1.5 inches ginger and 1 or 2 green chillies. you can even add ⅓ cup spring onion whites instead of onions. 5. in a small bowl take 2 teaspoons soy sauce and 2 teaspoons red chilli sauce or red chilli paste. do add spicy red chilli sauce and not sweet red chilli sauce. 6. mix both the sauces very we...
